Great place for the 55 plus gang who are looking for overnight, a couple of weeks, or a number of months We stayed 3 weeks in our 5th wheel during February. We found the staff from the time of reserving a spot to be very friendly and interested in making our stay great. Park and facilities were very nice, clean and much appreciated by the residents who incredible friendly and helpful. Lots of activities many at no extra charge and one could be as busy or not as you wished. Pools, hot tubs, shuffle board, quilting group, dance lessons, woodworking, movie night, jam sessions, concerts.

This was our first visit, and we were treated like old friends. The park consists of huge gravel areas with RV sites one after another. There is no privacy between sites except all the gravel. There is no vegetation or trees. The sites are very wide with a spot for rv and room for a car, sometimes two. There are tons of amenities.

It's busy during the day: you can hear traffic, airplanes, helicopters, and trains. There are only 4 trash bins for the whole park, and they were overflowing most days. They either need more trash bins or more frequent pick up. There are lots of minerals in the water so it leaves stains. Overall, it's a decent park, and we would stay again if in the area. Dances every Sat night, many activities including pickleball, bowling, volleyball, tennis. Bingo, putting green, horseshoes, pool & spa (2 of each), fitness center, game room, computer room, bocce ball. Paved interior roads. Hiking within a reasonable distance, nearby shopping.

Make a reservation in advance to get the gate code to check in on the weekend. Park is 4 yrs old with gravel pull-thru's with 50 amp FHU. Some sites have concrete pads for your chairs, and some just gravel. The sites are some of the biggest I've stayed in. The wi-fi works works great from the site I am on. The park is very clean and far off the highway from any hwy noise, but still close to supplies you might need. The park has everything you need from pools, weight room, bowling alleys to jacuzzi's.

I would rate it a 4/5 just because of the gravel sites. We camped at Carefree Village Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The sites are all huge having been designed for double-wide manufactured homes. They will fit any length of RV. If you are coming just for a few days they will most likely assign you a pull-thru site opposite the activities amenities. Note that the pull-thru sites do not have a patio area, the whole site is large gravel. There are 8 beautiful new pickleball courts which can be lit at night.

The other amenities such as Bocce, Shuffleboard, and mini golf can also all be lit for night usage. They have a full kitchen that serves lunch every Wednesday and breakfast every Saturday. The meals are only $5 per person and are very good. The park is located a mile from the Frontage Road and is extremely quiet at all times. It is very easy to access Highway 8 and 95 and head either direction on the Frontage Road as there is a traffic light. Shopping is very convenient with a Wal-Mart 1.5 miles away and a newer Fry's within 5 miles.
