Komponen elektronika adalah elemen terkecil dalam suatu rangkaian elektronika. Rangkaian elektronika pada umumnya terdiri dari komponen aktif dan komponen pasif. Untuk keperluan sistem saklar seperti ini, biasanya digunakan tri-state buffer, yaitu sebuah komponen digital yang dapat mempunyai tiga keadaan output, yaitu high, low, dan high.
